Oh man...

If I ever ask anyone a favor, it's now. This weekend, can you please - PLEASE - not blow anything up or try and kill your suitemates or get into a fight with a supervillain/demon/evil government organization? Just until Sunday night?

My father is coming to visit the school this weekend. As you might guess, I'm just thrilled.

Avoid him if at all possible? I'm going to try and just get him in, show him around, and get him back to the airport as soon as possible.

He'll use my first name enough for my preferences. And my middle one. It's like I'm constantly in trouble.

He's not a charmer, he's a lawyer. I'm not even sure he has blood flow. He wants to, and I quote, "See how everything's coming along and that you're doing well". Which is kind of significant, since that'd be a first in, oh, about sixteen years.

I wouldn't tell you not to wear a skirt, by any means.

Oh. He's one of those kinds of parents. Hm. Then perhaps we could pull a CSI and make it so that one of his tires goes flat far enough away from the mansion that he won't call us for help but close enough that he's no where near the city and will have to either change the tire himself, ruining his very fine suit, or wait for hours until someone comes to help.

Well, there's not point wearing a skirt if I don't have to look pretty and professional.

Oh god no. Whatever you do, don't bring up the reservation. I know he grew up on the Montana reservation and left when he was sixteen. I think there's some serious bad blood there.

Yeah, corporate lawyer for an aeronautics firm. It's a living, I suppose.

Well, I was more talking about not wearing my shirt because wings + shirt = irritating. I don't like making other people uncomfortable, though. I'll stay clear if he's got issues with me and my lifestyle.

I would very much like to talk to your father while he's here, Forge. Someone should, I feel, fill him in on the good things you've done here... helping the injured, aiding in the treatment of the sick, impressing the Grandfather of Robotics...

And making toys for your schoolmates, too, although I won't ask Catseye to give me the MiniSquid to show him.
