x-juggernaut.livejournal.comAs I've mentioned elsewhere, this weekend's snowfall hasn't been a big one. Bigger ones are coming, though, and a few things will be done over the week. Storm windows will be going up - so anyone who's gotten into the habit of treating their windows like they're the front door is going to have their habits changed.
Also, those of you who think the roof is your lounging and hangout spot - there's a gazebo for that out back. I can already count some broken roof shingles, and that means leaks in the attic. Leaks in the attic mean I'm going to have to tear out the insulation up there and replace it. Which in turn means I'm going to be crawling through a dusty attic dragging fibreglass insulation all over the place.
Short version for those who aren't following along: no sitting on the roof, or you'll be tacking up new insulation in the attic until the job's done. Anyone who's got any questions or wants to volunteer to install storm windows, catch me during the week, or let me catch you on the roof again.
Chuck - I took the liberty of checking the storm windows, and about half of them need to be replaced, and before the next big storm comes in. I got a few quotes that I want to run by you, as well as an idea for the west lawn's grape arbor come spring. I'll run them by your study tomorrow.
