I just found Betsy and Remy and Dr. B down here in the hallway. I can't wake any of them up, and Betsy really doesn't look well, and I can't carry them down to medlab, so um, if somebody could come get them? We're in the hallway at the top of the stairs heading down to medlab, so you won't even have to come far.

Dated recently ;) As usual, Dani is making lunch for the hordes of people at Xavier's and Kitty & Lockheed stop by. Everything is very normal and Dani thinks Lockheed is cute.

You're the only ome immune )

Kitty's fine - we've got her on oxygen and keeping her in overnight for observation, but she is fine.

The rest of you that were involved in tonight's incident, we'd like to see all of you down here at some stage tonight, if only to satisfy our medical paranoia. Even if you think you're fine, okay? Don't make me send Hank after you.

(although I already told the professor.)

I've got a new pet. His name is Lockheed, and he's very cute and very sweet and really not dangerous. Just very hungry, and pretty curious. He came back from Asgard with Jamie in what turns out to have been an egg and he only just hatched last night so he's really just a baby and again, I stress this, not dangerous, no matter what 'Yana may think. Also, he's got a very prestigous lineage, what with being Fafnir's grandson.

Well, we think he's his grandson. Although, Ms. Bartlet, if you'd be willing to help us find out? Jamie didn't know how to sex a dragon.

Jamie says his father could breath fire, but I haven't seen that yet so I don't know, but I promise, Mr. Marko, that I won't let anything happen.

Heya,

Since Jubes and Amanda finish they're punishment detail this week we were bashing around ideas of what to do on the weekend in the student journal. Finally decided on a trip into the city on Friday night. We can hit somewhere good but cheep for dinner and then a load of people will probably go watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Anyone who wants is free to come along, of course, and, since it's NYC, if you don't want to go to Rocky it will be easy to find something else to do to occupy your time.

What say you?
[identity profile] x-kitten.livejournal.com
Hey,

Since we've got the week free from classes, would it be ok if we made a sort of expidition into NYC this week sometime? Maybe wednesday or thursday? A lot of the new kids haven't ever gotten to see the city, I think, and ... well, the rest of us didn't have such a great time last time.

Please?

wow...

Can I just say, it's been a hell of a month.

That's right folks, a month. [livejournal.com profile] x_beast's system - this system - has been online one month yesterday. (Would have posted about this yesterday, but studying takes prescedence and watching [livejournal.com profile] x_crowdofone play Tekken is very absorbing. Besides, I didn't open my account until a month ago tomorrow, so it's an average of sorts.)

Where was I? Oh right, one month. One amazingly long month...

One month ago I didn't even know half of you all. Well, maybe not half, strictly speaking... but lots of you anyway. Welcome again and good to know you.

It's sort of sureal to think about what all was going on a month ago that now is totally different. Not going into specifics. It you want the specifics go read through the backlogs. Not that you all don't already know most of this stuff anyway. You lived through it just like me.

And we did you know. We lived through it. We came through, bruised and bloody, and missing vital parts of our hearts but we survived, somehow.

Not sure what's got me in this mood right now. Well, ok, yeah I am. Going to temple tonight for Shavuot and preparing for finals and turning 15 soon and everything's pointing to the end of one thing and the beginning of something else, something new and different. Not sure what it'll be, or what I'll be, but then I never am.

Right, that's enough introspection from me today... at least for now. Time to go back to being a silly, energetic teenager. I'm done with classes for the afternoon and am tired of studying all the time. I'm gonna go read on the front lawn. [livejournal.com profile] x_celsis, it looks like just four of us going to Temple tonight, you included, so does that mean we get to go in the Jag?

fixed...

Sorry about the system outage this evening... One of the servers crashed, but rebooting it seems to have put it back on track.

(sorry it took so long. I was watching [livejournal.com profile] x_crowdofone play videogames and didn't realize it'd gone down.)
[identity profile] x-kitten.livejournal.com
um...

If anyone was looking for me, I'm sorry.

[livejournal.com profile] x_storm, I'm sorry I missed Lit/Study Hall. I'll be going to the rest of my classes today...

Hey all,

Rogue's Tagore kick got me thinking and I've been rereading the Tao Te Ching, so the Professor and I are going to be starting up Tai Chi morning excersizes. Anyone who's up that early, or any of the Insomniacs Annoymous club who haven't made it to bed yet, feel free to come join us at sunrise tomorrow.

That's 5:31 am, local time.

We'll probably be on the front lawn, since that's got the least trees to impeed the view, unless the Professor has a better idea.

You should all come. It's a great way to start the day, and you'll feel great for it.

(Don't worry [livejournal.com profile] x_rogue, I'll go to bed earlier than usual to catch up on sleep...)
[identity profile] x-kitten.livejournal.com
[livejournal.com profile] x_crowdofone and I had an idea, and I figured I should run it past all the official types (no, I can't read your thing, but that doesn't mean I don't remember where it is in the system. :p)

Anyways, we were wondering if we could have a BBQ next weekend. [livejournal.com profile] x_crowdofone volunteered to grill (including corn on the cob!) and I'm gonna make cookies and potato salad. Other chefs would be highly appreciated, and if you want to come you should R.S.V.P. here so we know how many burgers and stuff to make.

So, can we do this Professor? And can we get somebody to take us to the grocery store on Friday to get supplies?

wtf?

Hmm... wonder if I'm slowing down the system while I'm poking through it. Looks like it tried to eat my first post and didn't quite manage, so ignore the bit about still working on the coms. Rerouted the x-coms an hour ago and called Jean and Storm to let them know...

And don't worry Allison, I saw the sandwich eventually... although yeah, some more food would be good...

Found something weird a couple minutes and thought I'd mention it.

One of the terminals has been taken offline, looks forced. Kinda like they just pulled something out of a wall and didn't even turn it off first. I can't get past the firewalls and locks Hank has put up to figure out what it is but it looks messy.

Next step... hack into the security cameras and see if anybody's still in the Mansion.

Heh. Yeah right. Give me a couple weeks and I might be able to do it, but there's no way I can bust through in a couple days, and by the time I could we could run half a dozen recon missions to do a visual check.

I AM NOT SAYING WE'RE GOING TO! I KNOW BETTER!

X-Coms

Hacked into the main directory through the dial up, am looking to see what's cutting the com system off...

So far everything looks normal. There's no obviuos signs of any of the attackers having gone through the stystm, but they may have just been better than I am, so there's no guaruntee until Dr. McCoy can look... (And man do I wish I had the root passwords right now...)

I haven't been able to get them online, so I think it may be physical damage or a jammer, but if I find anything I'll let you all know.

And don't worry Storm, the kids are all being really good...

Can we order room service? I'd really rather not have to leave the computer just for food...
