A dragon. Just a little one, maybe, what, Kitty, he's about the size of a big housecat, isn't he? Purple. Makes cute baby-dragon noises.

And now that I think about it he's probably here because his dad was trying to be a progressive parent and not just leave him in a cave somewhere to hatch on his own . . . huh.

Well, in the sense that "here, you have a sense of humor and you're not afraid of dragons, have my son" is a step up from "here, you're a cave, a really long way away from my treasure, have my son." I'm not saying there isn't still room to improve. :)

Yeah, I'd say that's about right. He's small enough to carry around, anyway, which is good, cause we found out last night there's no innate knowledge of flight. Or if there is it hasn't kicked in yet.

Lots of cute baby-dragon noises, though. He wuffles in his sleep!
