As of tomorrow morning, I must close the school temporarily, for at least the next several days. Myself and other members of the staff are currently making arrangements for alternative accomodations, both here in the area and on Muir Island.

Although circumstances prevent me from explaining the reasons behind this, I will assure you that there is no immediate threat to your safety. We simply found it prudent to take extra precautions at this time.

I would ask you all to remain at the school tonight, and pack what you will need for several days away. Members of the staff will be speaking to you about departure times for the morning.
