Having received a full report from Mr. Summers and Ms. Munroe about your conduct during this crisis, I wanted to ensure that you all realized how fine that conduct had been. You have all weathered a great many difficult situations here at the school, much as I may have wished it otherwise. In this case, your ability to remain calm under pressure and your willingness to work together with the staff to carry on despite the circumstances was much appreciated.

Those of you who found yourselves in a difficult situation as a result of this past week's events can be especially proud of how maturely you handled the situation. You should see your reactions as having helped ensure the safety of yourselves and your fellow students.

I am proud of you all.
