Hey, can someone who knows their way around the techie geek labs do me a favor and make sure Forge showers or something? He hasn't been in his bed for an entire night, and his stuff's all messed up like he had to go somewhere fast.
If he's fallen asleep at his work bench, I get to wake him up with a wedgie, though.

Date: 2005-10-05 07:04 pm (UTC)But maybe ShinyBitsBoy did not like having to see GlowBallBoy and ManySkinsGirl suck face and be all happy when ShinyBitsBoy is left aside like that, and decided to get away for a bit for breathing room and stuff like that.
That would be like ShinyBitsBoy.

Date: 2005-10-06 12:03 am (UTC)We have been astronomically careful about just exactly when and where we are 'sucking face', actually. I do respect other people's feelings, Catseye. It was one of the reasons we left for a day; when I came back, I went looking for Forge, and found him unavailable.
He is still my lab partner. There is no "leaving aside", and all of that was a very hurtful thing to say. However, as it is because you're worried about Forge, I'll ignore it.

Date: 2005-10-06 12:25 am (UTC)But I will just say there's a good argument to make that I'm the most naive and sheltered person with easy access to the post you made -- and I'm sure there are people who'd be happy to make it -- and 'twas entirely plain to me what you meant to do. If what you did or said were considered inappropriate here, I'm sure someone in authority would have called you on it, and that's not my place to decide. But not being out of line wouldn't mean you had no effect.
That said, Kyle's right, if he'd meant to be gone this long I'd think he would have packed something.

Date: 2005-10-06 12:47 am (UTC)How would it have been "in line" for one of us to be driving home at 4 in the morning after spending all day and night in the city? Because yes, that's about the time the two of us turned in for the night and went to sleep.
I just don't appreciate my responsibility and trying to think of others being called on as, well, exactly the opposite.
But as I said. Forge missing is much more important right now than my hurt feelings. That is what we need to be concentrating on.

Date: 2005-10-06 01:11 am (UTC)I did say, by all means, if you've something to do for Forge, ignore me and do it. If there's something I can do, tell me!

Date: 2005-10-06 01:24 am (UTC)And that's just it. I'm going over everything I can, and it still feels like I'm just banging my head against the wall.

Date: 2005-10-06 01:28 am (UTC)Since Rahne's too polite to say it...
Date: 2005-10-06 01:02 am (UTC)But announcing it to all and sundry, especially when we all know Forge has a massive crush on you, the way you did could be considered a bit of the thoughtless side of things. Especially when there's been nothing said publically by you along the lines of "Thanks Forge and Moira for helping me get Jono back in the land of the embodied". Catseye's just saying what a lot of us were thinking - Forge had a reason to feel upset and hurt and rejected and now he's gone.
*shrugs* Just calling it the way I see it.
As for helping find him... Location spell won't work on Forge. There's that whole metal issue again, and I can't get a fix.
Re: Since Rahne's too polite to say it...
Date: 2005-10-06 01:13 am (UTC)You? Have no idea if I said thanks to Forge and Moira privately. We don't all need to make everything a big public event where everyone can see it.
Which is why I am requesting if you would like to continue "calling it like you see it" that you do it in email, thank you.
